I was very happy at the begining of this year, when Chiara and Simone chose me to be their wedding photographer in Val d’Orcia. For the ones who don’t know, Val d’Orcia (or Valdorcia) is a region of Tuscany, central Italy, added to the UNESCO list for its aesthetically pleasing landscape. It’s characterised by gentle, well cultivated and softly curved hills occasionally interrupted by picturesque towns such as Pienza, where this wedding took place in the middle of June. Unfortunately the weather was not the best you’re expecting in Italy in the middle of June, but their love and all their emotions made this day shining, reminding us that this day celebrates the union of a man and a womad who are about to start an exciting journey together. It was really a privilege to have been there for giving you these memories (despite the evening bath!).
